Supply Chain and Accounts Administrator / Assistant- Wetherill Park based

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Supply Chain and Accounts Administrator / Office Assistant  to join the busy team at our Wetherill Park office.

This is a key Administrator / Assistant role that supports the Supply Chain / logistics and Accounts / Finance departments needs and ensures imported products and accounts processes are optimized.

Please note this is not an Accounting role, it's an Office Admin role. Supply Chain assistants are encouraged to apply.

The role:

  • To be the support person to our Supply Chain / Logistics and Accounts / Finance departments.
  • Raising and amending purchase orders as required by the business in SAP.
  • Entering intercompany vendor invoices into SAP with PO linked
  • Keying freight and duty invoices into SAP with Bill of Material breakdown
  • Following up with our manufacturing sites and forwarding agents regarding order status / delivery deadlines
  • Ensuring Import and Export documentation is accurate and available for Customs clearance
  • Ensure Invoices and Packing lists are correct, and assist in any investigations regarding invoicing
  • Supporting Finance / Accounts department with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and following up overdue debtor invoices with customers.
  • Assisting Finance / Accounts department with customer billing queries
  • Matching statements sent by vendors at month end.
  • Processing container unpacks and creating inbounds daily in SAP.
  • Liaising with third party warehouse
  • Handling stock availability and liaising with our Customer Service and Sales departments to ensure customer promised order date requirements are met
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to track orders status and stock availability.
  • Support a culture of business improvement by questioning inefficient processes and identifying alternative solutions
  • Develop and maintain collaborative, cooperative, and improvement-focused relationships with internal and external stakeholders (eg. Sales Representatives, Customer Service, Manufacturing sites, Warehousing and Finance

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Highly organised nature with a systematic approach to work
  • Strong follow through skills
  • A self-starter with a real 'can do' and ownership attitude with a strong Customer and Business focus
  • Excellent and professional communication skills, capable of building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in SAP or similar ERP
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Good with numbers
  • Strong problem solving skills and results driven
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic team
  • Initiative, drive and personal integrity
  • Similar experience with working in a Supply Chain / Logistics / Office administration / Accounts Assistant roles with an international company would be preferred
  • More than 2 years experience essential
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residence and valid Passport
