The Cancer Supportive Care Clinical Studies Collaborative (CSCCSC) is a member based research network that provides the infrastructure support for the conduct of cancer supportive care clinical trials. The CSCCSC is part of the Centre for Improving Aged Palliative and Chronic Care through Research and Translation (IMPACCT), based in the Faculty of Health.

About the Role
We are looking for a professional and well organised Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Investigator and the national office team for the efficient and effective management of the CSCCSC. You will ensure accurate, timely and appropriate responses to the varied demands on the office in its interaction with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also provide support for projects, events and marketing.

About You
You have previous experience in a similar role in a health or research environment. You have excellent communication skills and the capacity to provide a high quality, client?focused customer service.

You will also bring to this role:
•an ability to learn and apply policy and procedure in complex environments and provide advice to a range of client groups in an appropriate manner
•high level interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills with the ability to maintain good collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of people and networks
•high level critical thinking, analytical and problem solving abilities.

You thrive under pressure, can exercise initiative and judgement, and can be flexible in dealing with competing priorities, needs and deadlines.

Remuneration

Base Salary Range: pro rata $68,290 to $78,125 pa (HEW 5)

This role attracts 9.5% superannuation in addition to the base salary.

This position is part-time (28hrs per week - 0.8FTE) and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
