About PEER:
PEER is Australia’s Leading Learning Organisation for trade training in SA for Plumbing, Electrical, Data Communication and Refrigeration. Its Academy Based Model ensures students are trained, mentored, coached and supported to be the best. PEER’s business offers: host employment for apprentices; nationally recognised trade training; skills recognition; and a range of upskilling courses. PEER employs over 500 staff including apprentices.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Administer and process the student life cycle including enrolments, resulting and certification
- Update and maintain the student management systems, including VETtrak
- Manage project work as directed by the Team Leader Customer Service
- Provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers
- Compliant record keeping, document collection and data entry to support student applications
- Conduct audits and reviews of existing records against the student management system
- Assistance in occasional reception relief duties
- Ensure currency of learning resources
- Dealing with a vast range of clients including trades, industry bodies, Government departments, apprentices, migrants and students
To be successful to secure this opportunity, it is Essential that you can demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) desirable, not essential
- Administration experience desirable, full training provided
- Good knowledge of databases
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- A positive outlook with a can-do attitude
- Highly organised
