About the Role:

This position plays a vital role in providing support to internal stakeholders for Supply Chain enquiries and expedite requests.

A core function of this role is to manage incoming shipments from local and overseas suppliers through to delivery into NHP warehouse, or direct to customers. This includes maintaining accurate information in NHP’s systems and proactively managing deliveries to mitigate customer impacts.

Key success factors are timely stock availability, supplier and freight forwarder delivery performances, enhanced service to internal stakeholders, freight cost optimisation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage Supply Chain enquiries and expedite requests from internal stakeholders
• Coordinate and manage collection and transportation of goods from invoicing by supplier to delivery to NHP warehouse or to end customer.
• Manage collection, shipping and delivery challenges
• Maintain accurate records and documents relating to all incoming shipments
• Optimise transit times and shipping performance
• Optimise freight costs

About You:

We are looking for a logistics or customer focused professional with a keen sense of urgency, strong attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.

Ideally you have:

• A background in either Shipping or Customer Service
• A good understanding of excel and ERP
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail, accuracy and speed
• Computer knowledge
• Adaptable, self-motivated and proactive
• Able to use initiative and think outside the box
