Designer Plumbing and Contracting Pty Ltd is based in Berwick and provides plumbing services to the SE-region. We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant for a long-term placement in a home office comprising of 1 person.
The position requires you to handle all the office duties including accounts, order processing, planning etc to support a busy Director in running the business as it continues to grow.
You will need to be a hardworking team player with great communication skills and excellent attention to detail to succeed in this role.
The position will involve:
- Data entry, job allocating using SM8
- Coordinating work with staff and clients via phone and email
- Invoicing and paying bills
- Purchasing, sourcing and Scheduling
- Wages data and payroll
- Creating quotes and following up outcomes
- Management of staff schedules and allocations
- Developing promotional material, the website and social media
- Maintenance of the Company's documents and procedures
It is essential that applicants have the following:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in administration role ideally from a trades background
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Highly organized and good memory
- Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
- Must be self-directed and able to complete tasks with limited supervision e.g. working on your own most of the time
- Maintain staff confidentiality and are genuine
- Working knowledge of Mac mail and Mac Office
- Be trustworthy and reliable
