Internal Sales/ Yardmen
Our client, established in 1989, specialises in Precast Concrete Products and Civil Plumbing Products. They are now looking for an Internal Sales officer/ Yard support.
Reporting to the manager, you will be responsible for the provision of customer service, demonstrate product knowledge, outstanding communication and administrative support - occasionally assisting the yard person.
This position is a Monday to Friday, employed on a casual basis with a possibility of permanency after a probation period, paying $26.45/hr.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
- Taking client phone orders and following the process from initial contact to product distribution;
- Apply product knowledge to provide required information and documents to clients;·
- Data entry of client & order information into software program and maintaining progress;
- Monitor client satisfaction through follow up on solving client issues and problems;
- Assisting with loading/ unloading trucks when required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills/attributes:
- Proven ability to gain product knowledge;
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette;
- Demonstrated commitment to quality client service;
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (data input);
- High attention to detail & ability to think outside the box;
- Valid Drivers' License & Reliable vehicle (no public transport)
- Experience with invoicing, dispatch paperwork & stock picking
- LF high risk forklift license
