The Role - Retail Business Administrator/Stock Allocation Manager

Some of your KPI's to master for this quarter will be:

  • Increasing Gross Profit margins by 1%
  • Decreasing Group Discount margins by 2%
  • Increasing Stock Turns by 0.3
  • Reducing non-performing stock on hand by $50k
  • Entering all new products within 24 hours of receipt.

The Role - Retail Business Administrator/Stock Allocation Manager

Administration:

  • A background in Business Administration or Stock Allocation will be looked upon favourably.
  • Development of daily/weekly reporting systems that relate back to Bstore's KPI's.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Prepare various Excel spreadsheets as requested. An advanced skill level with MS Excel is a must.
  • Investigate faulty stock claims with suppliers and return an answer to stores within 24 hours.
  • Check all time sheets against roster and prepare payroll summary and forward onto the payroll department of our bookkeepers.
  • Assist the Director in identifying and exploring potential business opportunities and strategy development.
  • General office I.T problem solving skills.

Stock Management:

  • We have over 30000 items in stock. You are responsible for coordinating rollings stocktakes across 5 sites, investigating and resolving any variances.
  • Inventory management, stocktaking, entering invoices, reporting.
  • Assist the Director selecting new styles.
  • Building relationships and rapport with suppliers.
  • Develop a strategic Open to Buy plan.
  • Place purchase orders and communicate with overseas suppliers.
  • Grow our wholesale department. Build rapport with stockists and assist the Director in preparation for trade shows and overseas buying trips.
