APS4 Executive Assistant job opportunity available for immediate start in central Federal Government Agency
Your new company
This Federal Government Agency is currently undergoing significant change and growth due to a number of new Programs being undertaken, and internal restructure to ensure efficiency. This Agency is responsible for providing support through Program implementation and access to information services to a variety of stakeholders here and overseas.
Your new role
As the APS4 Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high level support to senior Executive Officers, who require an extremely organised individual who is able to hit the ground running. The initial contract will be offered to commence as soon as possible, with an initial 3 month term, with potential for extension. You will be working with a team of supportive EA’s, and your daily responsibilities will include:
- Diary Management
- Travel
- Document Coordination
- High level stakeholder liaison
- Use of TRIM, QBT and PDMS
What you'll need to succeed
You will be able to prioritise, work to tight deadlines, demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills and have a working knowledge of the MS Office packages. You are creative, innovative and have the ability to hit the ground running.
Previous experience in a similar role within the Federal Government is highly desirable. You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Baseline personnel security clearance.
