Well respected in the industry, we believe in work life balance and encourage ideas from all members of our team.  As our business continues to grow we are looking for the right person to join our team to assist in managing the delivery of goods to restaurants, catering and institutional channels throughout Melbourne, office administration and customer service.

The Role:

Your role will be focused on co-ordination of delivery of goods to our customers, customer service, general office management and administration. 

Specifically, key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following;

  • Arranging deliveries and coordination of logistics to customers
  • Liaising with freight companies, storage facilities and customer booking offices to organise deliveries and resolve issues
  • Maintaining all documentation regarding deliveries
  • Dealing with customer queries/complaints/issues and maintaining the Refer a Friend Program
  • Answering the phone and taking phone orders
  • Managing all correspondence, drafting letters and miscellaneous documents
  • Accounts payable
  • Sales and marketing support
  • Negotiating service contracts
  • Running system reports and providing analysis
  • General office tasks as required and ad hoc administration duties including data entry and filing
  • Adhoc duties as required
  • Health and Safety compliance

 

The Successful Candidate:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly-motivated individual, who can multitask and has a strong work ethic. To be successful with your application you will have:

  • Logistics administration experience
  • Strong IT skills including Excel reporting & data analysis experience, Word and Outlook
  • Hands-on approach with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding time-management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to speak Chinese or Vietnamese would be an advantage
