Hill+Knowlton Strategies Sydney is seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable and driven individual to jump on board as an Office Assistant in our friendly, fun and fast paced PR agency.

You can expect each day to be full of variety with no two being the same. You will take pride in your work, approach each task with a smile on your face and go the extra mile to put a similarly big smile onto the faces of your team mates. In return you will be treated with respect, given the opportunity to put your stamp on the agency and the role, and be the recipient of countless thank yous each day.

Some of the responsibilities you will be involved in will include (but not limited to):

  • General admin: Arranging couriers, mail, filing, answering phones, IT liaison, meeting room and function set up, etc.
  • HR:  Working with the HR team with setting up new starters and organising team celebrations (birthdays and anniversaries)
  • Event Management:  Client and team socials
  • Travel:  Sourcing and booking of travel via our online portal for team members and clients
  • Finance: Working with the finance team on AMEX and Cabcharge reconciliation, raising Purchase Orders, liaising with suppliers etc.
  • PA:  Support the Managing Directors with diary management and miscellaneous
  • Public Relations support: Helping out the PR team with research, event support, product send outs or other tasks as needs be
  • General ad hoc duties as required

 

We are looking for someone who will assist in creating a positive organisational culture through being proactive, professional and approachable. Experience isn’t essential, but a positive can-do attitude is. Some of your natural skills should include:

  • A people person with great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A positive work ethic and strong team focus
