Overview

Shoalhaven City Council is seeking an enthusiastic and focused Administration Officer to provide high level administrative support to the Shoalhaven Animal Shelter Team, located at the new premises at Nowra Hill. This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week; 9am to 2:30pm.

Your New Role

Reporting directly to the Team Supervisor – Animal Shelter, the focus of this position is to:

  • Provide high level customer service, administrative support and care for animals for the Shoalhaven Animal Shelter and internal and external customers relating to Ranger Services responsibilities.
  • Promote a positive image of the Shelter to members of the public and other stakeholders

Council requires applicants for this position to undergo a National Criminal History Check during the recruitment process. This check will be at the expense of Council.

About You

In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Eligible for Justice of the Peace appointment
  • Class C Driver’s Licence
  • Demonstrated experience using Shelterbuddy software
  • Demonstrated experience using a records management system i.e. TRIM
