Highland Property Agents is Sutherland Shire's most highly respected and innovative real estate agency. Established since 2007 with just 6 team members, we now have 100staff and two thriving offices based in Cronulla and Sutherland. 

Our office is full of positive energy, proactive and career driven staff that support each other. We are very big on reward, acknowledgement and social events to build team moral and bonding. This role is an integral part of the team as you are the first person our clients will have interaction with either via the phone or face to face in the office.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls and forward to correct person in a professional manner at all times.
  • Take messages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Greet walk-in clients and direct their enquiry correctly 
  • Ensure high standards of customer service both face to face and on the phone
  • Deal with all enquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Respond to clients in a friendly and helpful manner 
  • Order stationery and office supplies weekly (including monitoring stock levels regularly)
  • Organise the reception and printing areas daily
  • Make gift boxes ready to be sent out
  • Log and deliver mail 
  • Daily banking 
  • Light kitchen cleaning duties, this area must be kept neat and tidy at all times (including, loading/unloading dishwasher, garbage)
  • Ensure that bathrooms have clean hand towels daily and that there is sufficient supplies incl hand soap
  • Wipe over glass doors including front door regularly.
  • Email sales team twice weekly for stock lists/create stock lists
  • Keep track of keys coming and going using keylog
  • Set up for auction nights
  • Support staff requests, within reason
  • Communicate all necessary issues with Office Manager and Human Resources
  • Managing all the sales compliance within the Sutherland office (this can be trained)

In order to be successful, you must have the following

  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow up
  • Previous administrative or customer service experience is preferred
  • Microsoft Word and Excel experience is advantageous 
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • Must be professional, friendly and willingness to help others
  • An interest to further a career within Real Estate is preferred
