Established in 1875 Master Builders is an industry association representing the building and construction sector in Victoria. We support nearly 8,500 members in operating their businesses to ensure the delivery of superior quality to their customers.
MBA Building Services (MBABS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Master Builders Association of Victoria which plays an integral role in representing the professional and commercial interests of our members.
  
The Role:
If you thrive on delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships, then we have an excellent opportunity for you to join the friendly MBABS team in our Wodonga office.  This is a permanent part time role, 3 days a week for 7.6 hours per day. The successful applicant will be a part of a team where it is essential to provide excellent customer service to our members and clients and to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This administrative position will include the following tasks:
  • Assist the building services department in the administrative process of issuing Building Permits
  • Answering calls promptly and providing excellent customer service
  • Preparing invoices, accounts, banking etc.
  • Documenting processes and booking of inspections
  • Liaising with council, relevant authorities, builders, and other clients
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external individuals
  • Promoting other Master Builders services
  • Support other departments of the MBAV where directed or required
  
Skills and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate would possess a high standard of verbal and written communication, excellent Microsoft Office skills, a “can-do” attitude and an excellent customer service orientation.  Prior experience within the building industry would be an advantage.
