About the business
We are a family owned and operated business in Gaven on the Gold Coast seeking an office junior to join our small administration team.
About the role
The roles consists of:
- Answering the phone & making bookings.
- Scheduling daily work schedules for technicians.
- Data entry plus responding to & sending emails.
- General office duties such as filing, scanning & errands as required.
Skills and experience
We are looking for:
- Excellent interpersonal skills both written & verbal.
- Friendly, confident & with a professional telephone manner.
- Able to multi-task, follow instructions & work to deadlines.
- Have own reliable transport as no public transport available near the workplace.
- Clean drivers licence - manual preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
- Knowledge of MYOB preferred but not essential.
This role will ideally suit an office junior looking to enter the administration industry. The successful candidate will have excellent work ethic, be well presented & be able to work within a small team. You will need to be punctual, extremely reliable, self motivated & possess a willingness to learn. Your ability to multi-task is essential & excellent time management skills are a must. You need to have accurate data entry skills & a high level of English - both written & verbal - is preferred. On the Job training & uniform will be provided. The role will be full time Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
