The Role

In this busy role, you will be responsible for registration of vehicles in line with weekly auctions and sales at our branches.  

You will primarily be entering data relating to registrations and processing paperwork so the successful candidate will need to be comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

Reporting to the Administration Manager in a team of 7, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Checking registration status of vehicles proposed for auction and/or sale
  • Preparing vehicle registration documents
  • Renewing vehicle registrations and vehicle transfers
  • Administrative duties associated with the auction process including data entry
  • Corresponding with the Department of Transport regarding vehicle registrations
  • Delivering outstanding customer service to vendors, buyers & colleagues
  • Teaming with branch staff and management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the branch and auctions

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • At least 12 months’ experience in an registration role
  • Experience in a high volume data entry role
  • proven outstanding customer service skills
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • fast and accurate alpha-numeric data entry skills
  • someone comfortable completing repetitive, compliance based work
  • competent computer skills (MS Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • efficient, organised and able to prioritise competing deadlines
  • self-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervision
  • flexible, reliable and well presented
  • The standard working hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. And you will also be required to work on Saturdays from 9am – 3pm on a rotating (flexible) basis.
