We are currently recruiting for an Executive assistant for our client, a community based organisation based in Penrith. This is a fixed term contract until 30th June 2019 (maternity cover) and the salary package is up to $96k (including super and salary packaging). The successful candidate would need to be able to start on either 6th or 13th August.
The role of Executive Assistant (EA) will ensure professional administration services to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and General Manager Client Services (GMCS) and be dynamic in administration and report preparation, meeting coordination and project management. Critical to this role are exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills, and the ability deal with highly sensitive and confidential material. The EA also requires a good knowledge of Microsoft office packages and possesses the flexibility to support relevant meetings, reports and projects as required by the CEO and GMCS.
Support for the CEO
• Provide high level administration support for the CEO including diary, travel and email management
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and manage key relationships both internally and externally including Senior Leadership Team, political representatives and Local Councillors.
• Coordinate and develop reports for the Board of Directors and committee meetings
• Provide written communications on behalf of the CEO including complaints & appeals, weekly update material and meeting minutes
Support for the GMCS
• Provide high level administration support for the GMCS including diary, travel and email management
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and manage key relationships both internally and externally
• Provide written communications on behalf of the GMCS including complaints & appeals, meeting minutes and reports
Person Specification:
•Diploma or Degree In Business Administration, Event Management or other relevant qualification or significant (at least 6 years) relevant demonstrated experience.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior administration role for a CEO or equivalent
• Understanding of the issues and challenges of working in the not-for-profit sector, particularly in a community, government or social services environment would be desirable
• Demonstrated experience in leading or significantly contributing to administration systems
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential material
• Demonstrated high level analytical, problem solving and issues management skills
