The Position

An excellent opportunity is now available for an Internal Customer Sales Officer to join our team.  In this role you will have a strong focus on providing great customer service as you will be responsible for servicing the needs of Con-Serv’s existing clients, responding to new sales inquiries and supporting the activities of the external sales team.  This will see you:

  • Answer inbound customer sales inquiries received via telephone and email to provide product information, pricing details and other general support whilst promoting the features and benefits of Con-Serv’s products
  • Provide excellent, high quality customer service to all customers
  • Generate customer quotes in accordance with required product specifications
  • Investigate customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions based on approved Company policies and procedures
  • Liaise with external suppliers regarding unique product requests e.g. special make finishes
  • Complete compliance checks on customer generated invoices
  • Work in the warehouse on a rotating basis for the purpose of product training
  • General data entry tasks when required
  • Assist other staff, as required, and provide backup support and job coverage for team members during leave/peak periods
  • Support all other sales or administration projects

 

About You

As the successful applicant for the role, you will have;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing great customer service
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience using computerised accounting software – experience using Tencia or Arrow is desirable however not essential
  • Solid ability using the Microsoft Suite
  • Typing speed of 50+ wpm
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well individually and within a team
  • A flexible approach and attitude towards work
