Combine your strong administration and numerical skills with your excellent communications skills in this role. You will be involved in liaising with suppliers and customers – manufacturers of some of the best known food brands in Australia. Excellent systems and procedures have been established.
Responsibilities include:
- Receipt and confirmation of customer orders
- Placement of orders on suppliers and warehouse
- Preparation of customers' invoices
- Approval of suppliers' invoices
- Customer liaison
Skills and Knowledge required:
- Expertise in logistics / distribution
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Intermediate skills in Excel & Word
- Familiarity with MYOB (or similar)
- Creative thinking with a 'can do' attitude
- Quick thinker with good grasp of numbers
This varied and hands on role would be ideal for someone with strong service focus, comfortable with numbers and who thrives on being busy. This is an 8.00am to 4.30pm position. You will pride yourself on the accuracy of your work and possess a calm, helpful and professional disposition. Previous experience in the food industry would be an advantage.
