Action Indoor Sports and Inflatable World offer a number of Indoor Sports and Recreational pursuits including structured fully managed indoor sport activities and competitions, large indoor inflatable playgrounds, host to national indoor sporting tournaments, kid’s parties, bar and canteen services.
The Opportunity
Full time salarised position, remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Facility Manager to lead and run Action Indoor Sports and Inflatable World at Kambah in ACT.

The Facility Manager will need to work autonomously to ensure operational excellence across the facility and in all areas with a strong focus on continuous improvement in operational performance. This will ensure the Facility reaches the desired impact within the community and achieves our mission.
Responsibilities
This lead role is perfect for an accomplished Facility/Operations Manager who can demonstrate experience and success in managing all aspects of management of a fitness, sports, recreation and indoor playground facility as well as the ability to engage a community.
This role is also responsible for all financial management, staff management, business development, marketing, customer service, administration, facilities management, risk management and licensing requirements.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this unique and exciting role with Action Indoor Sports and Inflatable World we are looking for a strong leader and management professional with solid experience, who has the tenacity and attributes to lead and develop our team, and to run an impeccable facility. It is essential that you meet the following criteria:
Demonstrated management experience, including financial and management responsibilities, preferably within a Fitness, Playground, Leisure Centre, Facility or Sports management environment.
Demonstrated experience managing a Liquor and food licensed venue.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, negotiation and influencing skills as well as an eye for detail.
Demonstrated people leadership, staff management, supervision, and performance management skills.
Financial management skills, including preparation, management and reporting of budgets.
Experience using systems including; customer relationship management, financial management.
Proven capacity to build positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships and the delivery of high standards of customer service.
Desirable Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in business, leisure / sports management, or related field
Current WWVP Card (working with children check) or ability to obtain
Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or ability to obtain
Current Approved Manager License or the ability to obtain
Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate or the ability to obtain
