Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC) is an international sporting venue, located in Albert Park. Housed within the elite training facility, are state of the art aquatic and multi-sport courts & training facilities, function spaces and the offices of a number of state sports organisations. State Sport Centres Trust also manages Lakeside Stadium and State Netball & Hockey Centre (Parkville). Each year, our venues attract over 2.5 million visitors who use our facilities to train, compete, recover or spectate.
Being Melbourne's biggest Sports and Aquatic centre means that we need the best swim school teachers to help us deliver our programs! Every day we have 2800+ kids come through our doors, for schools swim programs, learn to swim lessons, squad training – and even aquatic based birthday parties and school holiday programs.
If you are a qualified swim instructor with an AUSTSWIM or equivalent qualification , and are looking to join an amazing organisation that will support and grow your career and passion in the aquatic industry, then we would love to hear from you.
The shifts are either based across our swim school hours – so run from 9:30am-12:30 and 3:45–6:15pm on weekdays, and 8:15am – 1:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. We would need weekend availability from you, as these are our busiest classes, but are flexible on which weekdays you work. We are also open to people who just want to work 2 solid shifts on the weekends, if that is all you are after.
We also have school based swimming programs (9am – 3pm Monday to Friday) - with no weekend or evening shifts required.
