Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC) is an international sporting venue, located in Albert Park. Housed within the elite training facility, are state of the art aquatic and multi-sport courts & training facilities, function spaces and the offices of a number of state sports organisations. State Sport Centres Trust also manages Lakeside Stadium and State Netball & Hockey Centre (Parkville). Each year, our venues attract over 2.5 million visitors who use our facilities to train, compete, recover or spectate.
Being Melbourne's biggest Sports and Aquatic centre means that we are a destination for children, parents and schools across Melbourne! Throughout the year we deliver Children’s Programs for thousands of children, including school programs, aquatic based birthday parties and school holiday programs.
The opportunity
An exciting and unique opportunity has come up to join our Children’s Program team as the Children’s Program’s Supervisor. The role is an outstanding opportunity for anyone starting out their career in Sport and Recreation Management, or with a background in Children’s Services program delivery (think Holiday Programs, OSHC).
Reporting to the Children’s Services Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing high quality programs, tailored to our client’s needs, managing end to end bookings within our school and private programs and managing a team of staff across multiple areas.
About you
We are looking for a vibrant and organised individual, with a passion for delivering high quality activities and programs to large and diverse groups. You will hold (or be willing to obtain) a Pool lifeguard certificate, Employee Working with Children’s Check and a First Aid Certificate.
Most of all, you will love what you do and get a real kick out of seeing your hard work come together. Your energy will be infectious and set an example for your team, while providing an exceptional customer experience.
