Oatlands Golf Club is based just on the edges of the Parramatta CBD and we are currently seeking to appoint a Golf Operations Co-Ordinator.  The position reports directly to the Director of Golf and is responsible for co-ordinating the golf programme and Professional Shop activities.

What will you be doing?

Professional Shop

  • To provide a high level of service as required by management for the benefit of members and guests
  • To present the Professional Shop with a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • To ensure the accurate recoding of all lesson, cart and buggy bookings
  • Assisting in the buggy room with club storage and cleaning of clubs
  • Golf cart cleaning and maintenance
  • General shop duties

Golf Operations

  • Manage the administration of the clubs member & mixed competitions
  • Collection of the clubs competition & green fees
  • Process competition results
  • Process ball competition
  • Publish competition results
  • Monitoring dress regulations and use of practice facilities
  • Act as Course Ranger and Starter

We're looking for someone with a record of success in:

  • Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong customer service ethic
  • The ability to work independently, organise work and set priorities to meet deadlines

  • A high degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing and new situations
  • Knowledge and experience of golf systems including MiClub time-sheet and competition management

  • Is committed to working weekends as the standard roster sees this person working from Wednesday through to Sunday
