Our client is a progressive and growing grain producer with large scale dry-land cropping properties in Southern NSW and Northern VIC. For their property just North of Mildura VIC we are looking for an operational and skilled:

2IC - Broadacre Farming

We are seeking hands-on, committed, high caliber applicants who possess a passion for the agricultural industry. The employer provides the latest in agricultural machinery & technology to compliment your experience and knowledge to maintain their position as a market leading company.

Reporting to the Farm Manager, the 2IC will require:

• 5+ years of practical experience in broad acre cropping
• A high attention to detail in all aspects of farming operations
• Experience in operating and maintaining a range of modern farming machinery, in particular Boom spray experience
• Familiarisation with RTK GPS technology would be beneficial
• Leadership skills - ability to help manage and supervise junior and casual staff
• Chemical accreditation and application experience
• Accurate record keeping
• Maintain a professional image 
• Drivers & Heavy Vehicle licence (desirable)
• Adherence to OH&S regulations
• Formal qualifications in agriculture or a trade is desirable but not essential.
