 Livestock include a feedlot and Angus Breeder herd. This is a full-time opportunity for the right candidate with relevant qualifications in Agriculture and experience in similar role. 

Duties include:

• Plan, organize and coordinate crop/fodder and livestock production on the farm. 
• Ensure contractual requirements are met with our clients and other stake holders and make sure the products delivered are to the standards expected. 
• Monitoring the trends in the market and planning the production in accordance with the requirements of our clients.
• Integrate a new management system and manage the business accounts/budgets.
• Coordinate and maintain the machinery usage at seeding/harvest and work out crop rotations (Canola and Wheat)
• Organize and manage the work out/select and apply seeding rates, apply fertilizer rates
• Coordinate Pest management program by identifying and introducing the plans for controlling diseases, weeds and pests.
• Selecting and purchasing the seeds for planting of crops.
• Manage soil and water management program.
• Monitor and maintain the welfare of the livestock by maintaining appropriate nutritional levels.
• Managing and coordinate the feeding and calving operations.
• Selecting bulls for the breeding program.
• Working out feeding rations for the feedlot cattle, choosing the cattle, getting the cattle into the condition required for optimum results.
• Supervising and training the new staff if required.

We offer attractive salary package of A$70,000 plus the Superannuation. Applicants are offered shared accommodation on the farm.
