The Company
Agri Labour Australia has now partnered with a leading grower and packing business that has been operating for over 40 years, this business is well known for producing Potato, Onions, Grapes and the production of Olive Oil.
This business runs a large number of farms around Australia and is one of the leading suppliers to Australian supermarkets
The Position
The business is now on the lookout for a Farm Manager to join the team, this position will be reporting directly into senior management in head office.
This role will be responsible for the overall management of one of the businesses most productive potato and onion farms. The role will see you manage the full end to end processes including Ground preparation, planting growing and harvesting, you will manage with the goal of achieving maximum yield with high end quality.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this position you will have a minimum of years Farm Management experience with will highly desirable if you have previous potato and onion experience.
The irrigation system in use is a centre pivot and it will highly beneficial if you had an understanding of its operation. It will also be looked upon favourable if you have some mechanical ability to ensure the maintenance of the machinery conducted by the maintenance team is on par with the set standards.
