The opportunity...

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate individual with interest or exp. in fresh produce & post-harvest quality to join our growing team based in Ravenhall. Reporting directly to the National Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out a number of key activities, including:

  • Helping to establish a new QC methodology and system; 
  • Providing assistance during postharvest experiments and trials;
  • Developing visual aids and documents to promote good quality postharvest practices; and
  • Conducting occassional product quality inspections across our distribution centres as well as our third party grower sites nationally.
     

Want to apply?

To be considered for this role applicants you will need to be able to demonstrate the following in your application:

  • The ability to travel interstate regularly
  • Tertiary qualifications in Horticulture, Agriculture, Food Science or Quality 
  • Understanding of basic plant or fruit physiology and previous experience within fresh produce sector
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Hold an unrestricted Australian drivers licence
