Vern Ryan's Pet Resort is now hiring! We are located at 3332 Geelong rd in Balliang East between Werribee and Bacchus marsh in Victoria. We currently have 2 positions available for a Kennel attendant .
Please note Those without experience or looking for a career change this is not the role for you, please do not apply.
The position will require a good work ethic from the successful applicant and a willingness to learn. This position requires the applicant to be over the age of 25 to be considered and must have a current drivers license with a good driving history. Those with vet nursing history will be highly regarded.
This position has several skill sets that I'm looking for specifically to be appropriate for the role.
Working availability-
Must not have any restrictions with availability for work between the hours of 7am and 5pm. This includes weekends and public holidays. Please note that holidays are not granted during school holiday periods.
Driving History -
Must have a clean driving history with good knowledge of melbourne suburbs with current car drivers license.
Animal Handling -
Experience handling animals either within a boarding kennel environment or dog handling (must be a paid position)and be comfortable handling all breeds.
Manual Labour -
This position is rather physically demanding. the applicant must be able to keep up with the fast pace nature of the job while maintaining high standards.
Eye for detail -
Understanding of how presentation directly affects sales. A keen eye for identifying problems and oh&s issues and resolving them promptly
Organizational -
you take pride in how you manage yourself and your time, and have strategies to help you stay on top of work load, deal with multiple priorities, and
Presentation -
you know how to represent a brand and adapt to be the face of the business!
