About the Role
To provide maintain the health and well-being of Care Farm animals and develop and maintain the Care Farm gardens at Costa House in order to add to the Lifestyle and well-being of residents and visitors to the facility and provide volunteer opportunity for those in the local community.
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience in the care and raising of small to medium farm animals
- Experience in gardening – including vegetables, trees and flowers
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people including those with a disability, the frail and the aged
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Have and be willing to obtain a current Police Check
- Be willing to undergo a Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check
- Current first aid certificate
- Previous experience working with volunteers and community groups
