Peffer Pastoral Company is a family owned and operated farming company in Molong, Central West NSW. We currently have a position available for a Poultry Farm Hand. Duties include caring for poultry, operating machinery and equipment, grading of eggs, controlling pests, vaccinating and handling poultry, poultry shed clean outs and manure removal.
To be considered for this role, you must;
- Experience preferred but not essential;
- Poultry husbandry / Poultry Health;
- Be honest and reliable;
- Mechanical Awareness;
- A current forklift licence would be preferable, but is not essential;
- Adhere to Biosecurity and Quality Assurance requirements;
- Have a willingness to learn new skills;
- Able to work unsupervised and in a team environment;
- Vehicle License;
- Basic computer skills;
- 2 x checkable work references that we can contact
This role has flexible working rostered hours but does include some weekend and night work.
