Platform is a not for profit Community based agency that provides holistic and integrated services to vulnerable young people, their families and communities.
About the role
32 hours per week - Permanent part-time team leader
This role will ensure effective leadership, supervision and support is provided in the delivery of the service, and to facilitate a professional workplace culture. In addition, and importantly, the team leader will work as part of a broader leadership team in partnership with managers to ensure a level of consistency and integrity across the program.
Essential Criteria
The successful Team Leader candidate will have:
- Diploma community services;
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience working within a homeless/housing framework for vulnerable young people;
- Strong Leadership skills and experience in providing professional support to team members;
- Ability to provide good judgement in crisis and transitional housing situations;
- Sound knowledge of practice in a homeless/housing sector and commitment to increasing housing solutions;
- Experience in partnership establishment and management;
- Demonstrated written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills including report writing;
- Ability to maintain an ethical, inclusive and non-judgmental attitude;
- IT literate and able to work with client information systems;
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to undertake regular travel;
- Sound knowledge of WH&S legislation as it relates to the workplace.
You will be required to work in any of Platforms sites across the Nepean, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury areas.
