The Role:
Victoria state wide locations, working hours that suit you, providing 24/7 support in Residential Care.
Requirements
About YOU:
> Proven experience working with young people in a residential care environment;
> Completed or be enrolled to complete a Cert IV Child, Youth & Family Intervention (Residential & OOHC) OR relevant qualifications with mandatory trauma unit (top up skills) completed or the intention to enroll before June 30, 2018;
> An open-minded approach supporting young people with complex needs, including behavioural issues;
> Reliability and flexibility – capacity to adapt to changing environment;
> Friendliness, empathy and proactive with a genuine intention to work with young people at all levels of development;
> A full unencumbered drivers licence;
> National Police Check, Medication, First Aid with CPR, Fire Safety and a Working With Children Check or a willingness to obtain.
