THE POSITION
Breakthru is looking for an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join & lead our NDIS team in Western Melbourne. Currently, our mental health programs are in transition to the NDIS and you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition. You will be tasked with upskilling staff and educating customers on the NDIS to support customers to ensure recovery is maintained and that performance benchmarks are exceeded. You will be a strong leader, capable of facilitating continuous improvement within the team via a focus on best practice and high performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY TASKS
- Lead & motivate your team to meet KPI’s
- Coordinate NDIS transition
- Engage with our customer group
- Utilise performance management & training resources
- Coordinate caseloads and workflow
- Create & maintain relationships within the community
- Be efficient across many systems
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- 2 years practitioner (min) & management experience
- An ethical & passionate leader
- Focus on outcomes & results
- Understand culturally diverse customer needs
- Ability to work with difficult-to-engage customers
- Excellent communicator (written & verbal)
- Conflict resolution & negotiation skills
