Casual Disability Support Workers – Limestone Coast

Due to our continued success and growth in the South East we are looking to expand our base of Disability Support Workers to assist our customers and their families to live an extraordinary life through the exceptional administration and translation of their NDIS plans into service delivery. We are looking for casual staff to work in the Naracoorte, Millicent and Mount Gambier areas.
As a Disability Support Worker at Minda you will support customers in all areas of their everyday life whether it be the practical tasks around daily living, helping people access the community or providing opportunities to increase or maintain independence.
We currently have a number of casual Disability Support Worker positions we are looking to recruit in the Mount Gambier area. These roles form part of our Staff Connect area and its key function is to meet our customer needs through the matching and rostering of casual staff by delivering flexible and effective staffing solutions.
We require our people to be both adaptable and flexible for both our customers and their families. The hours of work and locations can vary as we meet our customers ever evolving service requirements. The hours of work are offered over a 7 day period.
In addition to the above, the essential requirements of this role are as follows:
- Certificate III in Disability / Individual Support (or recognised equivalent);
- experience supporting people with disability and challenging behaviours;
- a current Senior First Aid Certificate;
- a current and valid unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence; and
- a current DCSI Child clearance
