Community Living Association is a leading provider of ‘person centred’ supports for people with disabilities by promoting personal well-being, choice and inclusion. This position has responsibility for coordinating the delivery of services to people with a disability, assisting them to live in their own homes, gain skills and participate in their local community.
The successful applicant will have:
- Cert IV in Individualised Support or similar
- A minimum of 12 months experience in the Co-ordination or Case Management of Community Services to individuals
- Ability to lead a work group, performance manage staff and their development
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to plan, set priorities and monitor workflows
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets,
- Work within policies and procedures and adhere to legislative and contract requirements of confidentiality
- Highly developed computer literacy, skills & experience in MS Office Suite
- Sound knowledge of understanding of the Disability Service Standards
Experience in Positive Behaviour Support or working with people with complex needs will be an advantage.
