Healthcare Australia are currently seeking to employ numerous Personal Care Workers in and around Sydney Eastern Suburbs
We are looking for diverse, empathetic and nurturing people with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license to complement our existing community care workforce. Your primary responsibility will be to support our NDIS clients to maintain their independence at home.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting clients in daily living needs (personal/hygiene care and medications)
Assisting clients with disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience in personal care assistance and using hoists.
Willing to travel
Good Verbal English
Flexibility as shift times can vary (night shift availability is a must)
A great attitude
A passion for health care and disability services
Self-Motivated
Organised
Committed & reliable
Must be able to pass a National Police Check
Must be able to pass Working with Childrens’ Check & Disability Check
Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Current Manual Handling certificate or willingness to obtain one
Certificates in Aged Care, Nursing and Disability are Advantageous
Candidates with any personal care experience from various industries are encouraged to apply
