Creating Links (NSW) Ltd is a growing not-for profit community organisation that focuses on developing dynamic, resilient, confident and inclusive communities and families within Metropolitan Sydney.
Creating Links is seeking a highly experienced, vibrant and committed person to join the team as Manager, Community Care Services.
This role will provide high level coordination, development and oversight of our Community Care services, organisational systems and day to day operations (across Disability & Aged Care).
Essential Criteria
- Graduate or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant community service, disability/aged care, and/or a primary care discipline.
- Minimum three years' in coordinating or management experience.
Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the aged care and disability service sectors and contemporary issues related to same.
- Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated experience implementing organisational performance measures and facilitating change.
- Experience in Australian Aged Care Quality Agency, Quality Improvement Council and Third Party Verification accreditation activities.
- Highly developed people management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in continuous quality improvement; monitoring and/or designing safe guards to ensure organisational and service changes occur within a framework of consultation, review and formal approval.
- Project management experience
- Ability to balance competing priorities
- Valid working with Children's Check Clearance
- National Criminal Records Check
- Current drivers licence with no restrictions
Desirable Criteria
- Fluency in a second relevant community language as well as English
