Support Workers are as unique and individual as the people they support.  They come from a variety of backgrounds such as university students, teachers, retail assistants, or administration wizards, but they share a common passion. We are currently seeking Great Support Workers across a range of programs - we assist a diverse range of people within our Disability and Self Managed Programs -  as a Support Worker within these programs you may assist the people we support with various tasks such as;

• Helping them to engage with their local communities & culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities
• Assisting with, and coaching independent life skills such as cooking & cleaning
• Providing personal care
• Administering medication

As a Support Worker you should be available to work a combination of shifts which may include mornings, afternoons, weekends, sleepovers and short shifts (Minimum 2 hours). 

To be considered for these opportunities, you will need the following;

• Current Drivers Licence
• Be willing to undergo a National Police Check
• Current “Provide First Aid” Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
• Current Working With Children Check (If supporting people under 18 years of age)

Formal qualifications in Disability, Community services or welfare would be advantageous.
