We are seeking casual Disability Support Workers, to support persons with a disability across Rockhampton. This particular position is supporting our service users in social support activities and in-home support, out in the community or supporting a customer in their home.

We are dedicated to showing people they can, when sometimes they've been told they can't.

In supporting them out in the community, you'll be providing opportunities to create friendships, connecting with others in the community and enhancing their social experiences. Our Social Support and In-Home team often work shorter shifts with customers, anywhere from 3 - 6 hour shifts, which can be 7 days a week, and this particular opportunity is supporting a male, so males are encouraged to apply.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have:

Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support OR
Experience within the industry (eg. disability, mental health, aged care, individual support, community services or youth work etc.)
Experience with challenging and complex behaviours (further training is provided)
Ability to work outside of school hours.
First Aid Certificate and CPR, or willing to obtain one
Current Drivers License.

Successful candidates will be required to hold a Blue & Yellow Card (Multicap can help you with this application process).
