Parenting Connection Kimberley is seeking a Resource Worker to provide administration support. Our mission is to work with local communities throughout the Kimberley to identify specific parenting needs and ensure that current and future services are the right fit for those areas. Parenting Connection Kimberley delivers parenting workshops, one on one coaching, and assists the design and development of community led programs through the capacity building small grants.

You will be an integral part of Parenting Connection Kimberley, a partnership between Ngala and Anglicare WA, which provides integrated, locally connected parenting services designed to ensure that parents and caregivers of children and young people across the region have the skills, knowledge and confidence to nurture the wellbeing and development of their children.

About the role
Key components of this role include administration, marketing, events coordination, and data collection.
The ideal person will also be a confident representative of Parenting Connection Kimberley, possessing strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail in administration, strong organisation skills including time management, filing, document control and minute taking will set you up for success as you will be required to provide secretarial support to committees and the Coordinator.
Other responsibilities include responding to telephone, email and web-based queries, maintaining oversight of bookings, events, and workshops, as well as producing parenting resources, educational resources, promotional material and maintaining the database.
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check, and a WA Drivers Licence.
Remuneration
- $35.80 – $38.52 per hour + 9.5% superannuation
- Rent subsidy and electricity allowance
- In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount
