About the program
The Wesley Dalmar OOHC service is an accredited program by the Office of the Children’s Guardian and regulated by the OCG standards. Wesley Dalmar OOHC supports children and young people who enter care, supporting carers and birth families associated with the children and young person in care. Our work is underpinned by the legislative hierarchy of the Permanent Placement Principals. The Central Coast OOHC program is made up of both Tuggerah and Gosford offices.
About the role
Wesley Mission is seeking a Case Manager to join the Wesley Dalmar Out-of-Home Care team. The position offers challenging and rewarding opportunities to work with children, birth parents and foster carers.
Essential criteria
- degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology or related discipline
- flexible working hours including some evenings and weekends
- current unrestricted drivers licence
- demonstrated ability to write reports to a professional standard
- ability to work as a part of a team and independently
- experience in Out of Home Care
Desirable criteria
- experience in case management
Remuneration
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS award Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 with generous salary packaging available.
The agency provides regular supervision and support for all staff and opportunities for professional development + fully maintained vehicle + salary packaging.
