About the Role
This role supports Southern Plus ongoing vision to support clients live a life in full. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the future look and feel of respite services both in the center and in social groups. If you are a people person with lots of energy and enthusiasm to make a difference and drive change, this role is the one for you. The role is being advertised as full time however 2 part-time roles may be considered for the right candidates.
To be successful for this role, you will need:
- Compassion, patience and a sense of humour
- Experience in assessment of clients for community care services is desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to support staff to achieve positive client experiences in an ever changing environment
- An understanding of community aged care programs
- Eagerness to drive change through innovation and think on your feet
- A positive outlook and attitude are essential

The successful applicant will need to comply with criminal history checks as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and will need to produce a satisfactory National Police Clearance and complete a statutory declaration prior to commencement.
