About the role
Our rapidly growing organisation is seeking a casual/ permanent part-time & locum experienced Occupational Therapist's to join our team. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to customer service, with a high level of interpersonal skills and a desire to develop and gain further specialised clinical expertise. Work as part of a small tight knit team of professionals with a focus on providing the best evidence based care possible.
This roles is comprised of a mix of home safety assessments, equipment reviews & prescription, home minor including ramps and rails assessments, occasional major modification projects, energy conservation and functional task modification strategies, chronic pain management, wheelchair and scooter safety assessments. Ideally we are looking for clinicians that have had experienced within the community setting and are familiar with government funded programs such as HACC, CHSP funding, SWEP applications and the My Aged Care referral system.
Position Requirements
- Multiple positions available due to a rapid expansion in our community based services. Flexibility to offer direct employment or subcontracting arrangements.
- Full registration with AHPRA and current Victorian drivers license.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and problem solving skills, a minimum of 4 years experience within the community setting.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, a commitment to high quality service provision.
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Start Date - immediate
