An exciting opportunity is now available for an Employment Solutions Partner to join the supportive team in Noosa in the new office.

This role will deliver customer focused employment support services to achieve sustainable employment for people with disabilities participating in Disability Employment Services (DES) programs.

The Position

Reporting to the DES Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver effective employment support services by understanding our customer’s preferences and capabilities, in accordance with Values Based Service Model and contractual requirements
• Schedule and conduct appropriate activities with customers to maximise engagement and provide a high quality customer experience which leads to sustainable employment.
• Ensure DES services meet compliance requirements, individual performance goals and contribute to operational objectives.
• Facilitate high quality employment solutions which lead to sustainable outcomes by developing and maintaining a detailed knowledge of the local labour market, engaging with employers to understand their needs, provide education and information on our services, and assist employers to access applicable incentives.
• Undertake reverse marketing activities focussed on job creation to achieve sustainable employment.
• Provide effective job placement, on the job training and post placement support to meet the needs of our customers and employers.
• Establish relationships with a range of external services within the community to assist customers access a variety of interventions, training and physical/personal development programs.

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:

• Comfortable working autonomously within a wider team environment, whilst remaining focused on achieving your targets
• Demonstrated success in the delivery of quality and customer focused Employment Services is essential
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in an environment where achievement of objectives and targets are measured
• Proven ability to effectively influence, lead, coach and actively engage customers in employment related and community based activities (1:1 and in small groups)
• Ability to proactively build and maintain relationships in the community
• Have an effective, flexible communication style that delivers positive outcomes for customers and the business
• Confident business development and networking capabilities
• Have a community focus with a desire to help others
• Knowledge and understanding of the local Noosa area and dynamics is highly regarded
• Relevant certificate level qualifications will be highly regarded

Please note applicants must be willing to travel across the Sunshine Coast to other sites on occassion. Applicants must also have the ability to complete a Police Check, hold a Blue Card and have a current Driver's Licence.
