Lifeline WA delivers services that aim to prevent suicide, support people in crisis and create opportunities for emotional wellbeing. This is a critical role within the organisation, reporting to the CEO and contributing as a member of the Leadership and Management Team.
 
This role is responsible for fundraising activities (eg events, community fundraising, donations, corporate partnerships and philanthropy) that generate a substantial part of Lifeline WA’s revenue base. Although there is a strategic focus where an annual plan and analysis of activity performance occurs, this is essentially a “hands on” role that is intricately involved in the delivery of outcomes. Specific deliverables include:

• Achieve fundraising revenue & surplus targets
• Improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing activities
• Delivery and management of new profitable events, relationships and activities
• Ensure compliance with Lifeline’s brand management guidelines

Ideally you should be have a tertiary qualification in fundraising/ marketing or a related field with a substantial experience in a senior fundraising or commercial sales/ marketing role. Sound supervisory and management skills, experience in brand management, and demonstrated ability to attract and maintain donors and corporate partners is required. Well developed planning skills are necessary to build a diversified and sustainable fundraising portfolio alongside the ability to assess and analyse the success of initiatives.
 
Lifeline offers an attractive salary package of around $100k plus. Additionally there are FBT Exemption Benefits where components of your base salary may be used for non FBT purposes.
