The opportunity

We are currently seeking a Centre Director to lead our new centre. This role is for someone who enjoys building partnerships with supporting families, children and staff in many diverse ways as well as ready for a challenge. The Director will work as part of a management team, with the support of the Approved Provider, Manager and Educational Leader. 

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Centre Director
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards, Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations, with a focus on services built after 2013
• Basic knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline
• Quick learner, who can think on their feet and both solve problems and work independently
• An eye for detail and commitment to high quality
• An understanding of Kidsxap or be willing to learn. An understanding of Microsoft suite
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• The ability to promote a positive working culture 
• High level of verbal and written communication
• A friendly and positive demeanour

It would be highly advantageous if you have:

• Preferred Bachelor of Early Childhood Education qualification
• Current Blue Card, First Aid Certificate (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis)
• Up to date knowledge of fire training, safe sleeping practices and child protection
