Carey Lane ELC aims to provide high quality care for all children through a safe, nurturing and happy environment which is based on strong Anglican Christian values. It encourages the spiritual, physical, emotional, social and cognitive developmental building blocks that support children with a foundation for successful learning.
Applications are sought for the following positions to commence in July 2018.
Lead Educator
Permanent Part Time Position
*Attendance at meetings and staff conferences outside the usual hours
may also be required.
The successful applicant will be qualified and highly experienced. He/she must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), The National Quality Standards (NQS) and the effective use of ICT. At Carey Lane ELC we believe in the strength of working together as a team, with shared goals and aspirations, just like a family.
The successful applicant must be willing to have his/her name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register and possess the following:
- Minimum Qualification Diploma of Children’s Services (Early Childhood Education & Care)
- Current Blue Card
- Current First Aid and CPR; Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificates
- Experience in a Lead Educator role
- Experience in Assessment and Rating, Children’s programming and documentation
- Knowledge and application of Early Years Learning Framework
