The Opportunity
The Faculty of Information Technology has a strong focus on multidisciplinary, multi-campus and multinational research. As a result, we have an outstanding global reach which far exceeds any other institution in Australia. We are currently seeking a Research Fellow to assist with supporting our vision to lead and propel global IT research.
As the successful candidate you will have a strong background in automated test generation, particularly in fuzzing. Experience with background in statistics, optimization, or machine learning is also desirable.
You will also have a publication record that demonstrates the potential to publish in premier journals and present at flagship conferences in cybersecurity or software engineering (CORE A*). Your ability to work independently (or with limited supervision) will also be highly regarded, as will your strong written and verbal communications skills and an active creative practice.
