Bridging the Gap is looking for:
Trainer – Employability Skills Training Program
Are you an experienced and qualified trainer who loves to be creative and innovative?
Are you energetic, motivated and ready for a new challenge?
Do you enjoy working with youth and understand their learning needs?
Can you deliver training in a fun, stimulating and interesting way that engages and retains your audience?
Are you ok with being employed on a full time casual basis?

Bridging the Gap (BTG) Inc is a non-profit, community based organisation with a 30 year history of providing training and employment based services in the Perth South region. We deliver accredited and non accredited training, career development and other Federal and State funded programs to people who are unemployed. As a Registered Training Organisation, BTG delivers ‘Employability Skills Training’ (EST) to young people ranging in age from 15 to 24 as part of the Federal Government’s Youth PaTH initiative. Based on demand from jobactive providers, this training can run continually in various areas of the Perth South region. We are currently looking for a Trainer to deliver in the Rockingham or Fremantle area and need someone who can train and support youth to develop critical work readiness and employability skills via a range of non-accredited and accredited training that utilises innovative models designed to enhance engagement and learning. You will also be required to work closely with jobactive providers and employers in the region to find internships for the young people once they have completed the course.
