As the first Steiner School in Australia, Glenaeon has a fine heritage of pioneering work dating back to our origins in 1957. We now educate some 500 students from Preschool to Year 12 across three campuses at Castlecrag, Middle Cove and Willoughby on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. We seek teachers who are creative and engaging in the classroom, and able to actively support Glenaeon’s ethos and values which foster a developmental, balanced and global approach to teaching and learning.
Ideally we are seeking an experienced teacher to take the class through Classes 1-6 delivering the Australian Steiner Curriculum while meeting NESA curriculum requirements, and willing to work collaboratively with our Class Teacher Faculty to deepen and research Steiner education in a contemporary context. Employment for teachers at Glenaeon is based on the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement. The successful candidate must also provide a Working With Children Clearance prior to commencing.
