Our client is a NSW based training Organisation who specialises in training and assessment in qualifications for a range of industries and are expanding into the Construction sector.
They are currently seeking the services of a qualified Construction Trainer for a new program.
Job tasks and responsibilities
These positions require a combination of recent proven industry skills and experience with a strong understanding of training and assessment. This is an opportunity for skilled trades people to join a growing training company. Working closely and reporting directly to the RTO Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering the qualification outlined above to existing workers currently working in the Construction industry·
- Delivering other trade qualifications and units of competency aligned with your trade qualifications and experience·
- Assessing and providing feedback to students·
- Conducting workplace visits and on site assessments for students·
- Providing one on one coaching and support·
- Customise training delivery to meet client needs
Skills and experience
You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage a diverse range of people. You will be passionate about developing others and your strong hands on experience in the construction industry will ensure your training skills are relevant and current .The ideal applicant(s) will have:
MUST HAVE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40411), or at least in the process of completing this qualification
Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III) Carpentry or Building or Construction.
A commitment to quality in both the industry and providing excellent student and customer service·
Exceptional communication skills·
Be willing to travel around Metropolitan NSW and country regions
